HOW DO I BOOK YOU?

Once we determine I am available, we will set up a consult in person if you are local or via phone, messenger, or Skype if you are not. During the consult we will discuss your needs and I will answer any question you have. When we have gone over everything you want and need for your photo shoot, I will send you contract outlining the services we discussed. Once you a satisfied with the contract you will sign it and pay a retainer to secure the booking date.

WHEN IS PAYMENT DUE?

A nonrefundable retainer is required for all photo sessions & services. No dates will be secured or services render until it is paid with your signed contract. The balance of the session fee is due by your photo session date for portrait sessions and 2 weeks prior to large event services like weddings. I do have payment plans depending on your type of session; this can be discussed during your consultations. Payment for products such as prints, albums, and art must be paid in full before products are ordered from the print lab.

WHAT IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO AFFECT THE PHOTO SHOOT, LIKE BAD WEATHER OR WE JUST CAN’T MAKE IT?

If weather makes the session impossible I will reschedule your shoot to the next available date. Your retainer will be transferred to your new session date. Other issues will be determined on a case by case bases. Simply missing a session could cause you to forfeit your retainer and new retainer to would be required to reschedule.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO SCHEDULE A PHOTO SHOOT?

Two hours after sunrise and before sunset provide the best light, and are perfect times to shoot. The actual times will vary with the seasons and the location you choose.

 

ARE YOU AVAILABLE ON THE WEEKEND?

Yes, and at this time I do not charge extra for weekend shoots.

CAN I CHOOSE THE LOCATION, WILL YOU SCOUT IT IF I ASK, AND DO I NEED TO PAY ADDITIONAL FEES IF THE LOCATION IS OUTSIDE OF ALAMOGORDO?

Yes, I can work with a location of your choosing. I would be happy to visit the location to see if it will work well for what you have in mind.
I include Alamogordo, Cloudcroft, La Luz, and Tularosa as local. Additional cost may be added on depending on your location.

CAN YOU SHOOT ON PRIVATE PROPERTY? WHAT ABOUT STATE OR NATIONAL PARKS?

If it is your property, no problem. If it is someone else’s, you will need to acquire consent from the owner prior to the shoot. I will need the name and contact information for the property owner before the shoot date. If you plan to do any events in a national park, you MUST fill out a permit called an Application for Special Use.

DO YOU DO CONSULTS? CAN THE WEDDING PACKAGES BE CUSTOMIZED TO MEET MY NEEDS? DO YOU DO DESTINATION WEDDINGS?

Yes, I offer free consults. All my packages can be customized to fits your needs for your special day. We are available to travel anywhere in the US as well as destinations around the globe.

DOES MY SESSION INCLUDE PRINTS, DIGITAL IMAGES, OR A WEB GALLERY?

Some photo sessions do include prints, products, or print credit and some packages the product is sold separate. What your package includes will be determined based on what type of session you chose and will be fully outlined in your contract. I offer a wide variety of print products, from standard prints to canvas, metal, and photo albums. Some of my packages may include digital images, example all weddings come with a custom USB with digital images and print release. High Resolutions digital images can be purchased on CD, USB drive or digital download. All session come with a complimentary web gallery for you to share with friends and family. Your gallery will be available for a minimum of 30 days or more depending on the type of session you booked. Your gallery will be linked to a professional photo lab allowing ordering straight from your gallery and dropped shipped straight to the buyer. You can also purchase high and low resolution digital images with a print release straight to your home computer. All galleries also have a Facebook share button that allows you to share your images on your Facebook page.

HOW MANY IMAGES DO I GET? DO YOU DO PROOFS? CAN I GET THE UNEDITED IMAGES?

I believe in quality or quantity. I do not want to overwhelm you with too many choices or give you similar images of the same pose. I will choose the best of best from your session. Different types of sessions will yield a different amount of images to choose from.
Most portrait sessions will include 4×6 print proofs for you to review to assist you in your final print order. Weddings do not come with proofs, review will be through your online gallery.
I shoot in large RAW format to give me the most data to work with. This is not a printable format and requires the proper software to work with. I do not release unedited images on any of my sessions.

DO YOU POST IMAGES TO FACEBOOK? WILL MY IMAGES BE USED IN ADVERTISING OR ON YOUR WEBPAGE?

I will only use your images with your permission. If you do not want your images being used in any public forum simply let me know and I will include that in your contract. Otherwise, I will provide you with a sneak peeks on Facebook and your images may be used in advertising on websites or other media.

WHERE CAN I PURCHASE YOUR FINE ART IMAGES?

IF YOU HAVE AN IMAGE ON FACEBOOK OR ELSEWHERE, BUT IT IS NOT ON YOUR GALLERY, CAN I STILL PURCHASE A COPY?

Absolutely. Just send me a quick message about the image you like and I will upload it to my gallery for purchase right away.
